Show Author On Front Page

    How can you show the author “byline” on the front index page so that it shows “Posted on [date] by [author]. By default, it seems like this is hidden or removed in the twentyseventeen theme on the front page, but it does show the usual author information when viewing a single post. On older themes you could just set the byline to display:inline, but that doesn’t seem to work in this theme.

    You guys ought to open a new thread on this topic. Subscribing to an 11 month old thread isn’t a good sign that you will get support.

    Also there’s a “subscribe” link in the sidebar so you don’t have to respond to say just that.
