Show Cart Cross Sells "Select Options" as Popup?

  • Hi there,

    This is somewhat of a general question but I can provide more specific site info if need be… I am just wondering if it is possible to, when clicking “Select Options” for a cross sell item in the cart, have a popup/modal display with the options and an add to cart button rather than completely re-directing to the individual product page?

    It seems like the way that cross sell items without options works great in that the add to cart button adds them to the cart without having to leave the page at all so I’m trying to achieve the same with with cross sell items that do have options.

    It isn’t possible by default, but could be done with some customization.

    Thank you! I was looking into that one but wasn’t sure it it would work on the cart page. Will try it out.

    I don’t think it does, only on product archives I believe. It should just be a good place to start and only need a little customization as opposed to building out this solution from scratch.
