Show categories even they are empty

I will have to dig into the code to see if this could be done. What is your rationale to want to display empty category names in the list?

I’m creating in my blog a list with some project management masters and courses in the Latin countries. This list is currently empty because I’m starting my blog, so I’m encouraging visitors to contact me to include new posts on it.

The reason of showing all categories (countries), is to make clear to the visitors which countries are available in this list. If I cannot show all them, some visitors could not contact me because they could believe that their country is not considered in the blog.
I tried also to put an empty link, just to show a space under the category, but it doesn’t work. Can it be done?
Taking advantage of your response, I want to ask if your plugin can be used also to generate a list of files. Showing the files under different categories and allowing visitors to download them.

Check out the new version of Link Library a bit later tonight. After upgrading, if you set the following settings, you will be able to see empty categories:

– Set ‘Hide Results if Empty’ to false
– Set ‘Display link counts’ to false
– Set ‘Show Hidden Links’ to true
– Set ‘Show user links immediately’ to true

You should then see empty categories. Let me know if this works for you.
