Show categories in widget

    OHAI, I am using the plugin in order to show teasers of subpages on a parent page. (It works, because I use your plugin in combination with the “amr shortcode any widget” plugin.)

    I was wondering if there’s a way to include page categories/tags into the widget. Since my parent page is a portfolio, and my subpages feature the individual projects I am showcasing, including the categories of my subpages inside the parent page’s teasers would be a very useful thing.

    Glad you’re finding a way to creatively use the plugin!

    What you describe is outside of the scope of what I plan for the plugin, however, you could probably get there without too much work with a combination of a shortcode to show categories or tags and allowing shortcodes in the excerpt.

    Yeah, that’s exactly what I was planning on doing as a workaround while waiting for the feature. But I realise now that you’re absolutely right. My idea might be the first step towards building this into a jack of all trades.
