    Hi,

I really love creating quizzes using QSM.

It would be nice, if I could make use of the category name as a variable, e.g. to show it as title for each question page.

Is there a chance to make use it (possibly with CSS)?

    Thanks!
    Sebastian.

  • Hi Srothgitta,

You can not show it as a title but in the quiz’s options tab there is a setting called “Display category name on front end” just enable it and save the changes. If this option is enabled the Category Name will be displayed to the user besides the Quiz while attempting the Quiz.

Please let me know if you need more help.

    Hi Sumit,

thanks for your response. I already tried this option but I am not satisfied with the styling.

I wondered if I can display the category somewhere else via custom CSS. For now, it does not seem like that – any hints?

    Thanks,
    Sebastian.

    Hi Srothgitta,

You can use the .quiz-cat CSS class to change the style. Just add the CSS rule in that class and add the CSS code in the additional CSS section of the customizer and then check. Let me know if you need more help.
