Show comments on category pages

    Hi guys,

    The plugin looks great but have you any plans to integrate it with posts on category pages like in the native WordPress comment system? I’d love to be able to switch to WPDiscuz but until it works on my home page (which is not static) and on my dozens of category pages it’s of little use. Best wishes with future development of the plugin.

    I’m really sorry but wpDiscuz cannot be used on non-single template files (category, tag, author, etc..) it’s only designed for single pages (single.php, page.php, custom-post-type.php). Please don’t try to include wpDiscuz in the category page, it has no chance to work. The comment box duplication will always generate JS errors.

    Do you think it’s something you might implement in the next 12 months? I would keep my existing comment system for a year if it was on your development list but if it’s impossible and will never be implemented I will use something else that works with categories.

    I’ve implemented the native WordPress commenting system which can be styled really well and, most importantly, works great on ALL areas of my site – category pages, static home pages and posts.
