show comments publicly (no login required)?

  • I want to show approved comments on my articles publicly. Currently, people have to register/login to view the comments. How can I fix this?

    Nano from Yootheme.

    There are comments on this article that are not showing publicly -> https://www.mbsinc.com/2013-it-task-list.

    Since it is a paid theme you need to ask support through them since we dont have access to the theme files in order to help you.

    Generally support for themes on here is only for the free themes when it comes to questions like this.

    But can I ask – why is this a “theme” issue and not a WordPress issue? In the settings, it has settings like “User must be logged into post comments”, etc. Shouldn’t there be a WordPress setting like “User must be logged in to view comments”?

    There is no such Wordperss setting for viewing.

    Viewing the comments is controlled by the theme. Why your theme is setup like that is unknown. Kind of crazy it works like that.
