    Hey folks!
We’re using your great plugin “Media Library Assistant”
I have a question – is it possible to display the copyright information of an image in the caption field?

    Thank you for help!

    Best regards Peter

Thanks for the positive feedback on the plugin and for your question.

There are two ways you can add Copyright information to your item captions. First, you can add the mla_caption= parameter to your [mla_gallery] shortcode. Second, probably better, you can use a mapping rule to store a value in the WordPress caption/excerpt field for the item.

The best place to start is by downloading and reading this document:

Mapping File Metadata to WordPress Fields with Media Library Assistant

The document will tell you how to find the source of the Copyright and how to use it in a mapping rule. Using the value in the mla_caption= parameter should be straightforward, too.

I will leave this topic unresolved for now in case you have problems or further questions regarding the solutions outlined in the document. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
