Show current date on page load

I would like to insert a date in a product review blog so the date updates to the current date when the page is loaded. And I am stumped. Maybe I have missed something but I can’t find any guide that covers thiis.

Does anyone know of a plug-in that can do this? Or a hack? I am not a programmer by any means but can follow instructions if I am pointed in the right direction.
