Show database table in widget

    Hi ??
    I want to show a list of names on a page (preferably in a widget) from a database table. I have full access to the db but am wondering if there is a plugin to do this……. I have searched and looked at a load but none seem to do what I want.

    Have I missed one ?
    or is there reason why there is not one ?

    I am using a random draw plugin (No frills Prize Draw) that creates a list of entrants. At the moment I am listing the names manually as they join the draw.
