    Hi Camille,

I recently startet using your Map-plugin on my travel-blog – a fantastic addition! I realized it would be a great addition if one could show the date of an entry below its title in order to find out when I visited a certain location. Oftentimes, I have blog entries for the same place in different years and it would help to find out, which blog entry was crafted at what date to differentiate them.

Thanks for your support – I tried to figure out myself if I could find the right place in JS/CSS files, but I think this is an addition that a lot of people could benefit from.

    Best wishes
    Mark

    Dear Mark,

That’s a nice idea, I think I will rework the popovers styles and content.
It could be the next big feature, I might let the user choose what he wants to show in the popovers (with checkboxes) and adapting the design accordingly.

Because if I add the date in one popover style, in which one should I add it? The complete one is a good idea, but what if we want only the title, date and thumbnail ??
Also, I will add the possibility to write a custom excerpt for the popovers.

This might take some time and thinking, but I will add it in the next big update ??

    Have a nice day,
    Camille

    Dear Camille,

thanks for your positive response! Looking very much forward to the update. I think the flexible design of the popups as described makes totally sense. For me it would be a “thumbnail, title, date, no excerpt” version that I prefer for my travel blog. Best wishes and thanks in advance!

Popovers are now customizable, and you can add the date too ??
