Hi @rilliam
You can display both the caption and description on the gallery images.
To add the caption and/or description, first click on the Manage Items tab just above your images when on the Edit gallery page. If you hover over an image now, you’ll see a small ‘i’ in the top left corner similar to the one on this image(https://mk0foopluginshnpw9dt.kinstacdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Edit_image.png). Click on this to edit the image and add the caption and/or description text.
Once on the edit image page, you can add the caption and even description in the “Caption” and “Description” text boxes respectively. Don’t forget to hit on the “Update” button when done. ??After that head to the Gallery Settings of that gallery and click on the “Captions” tab as shown in this image (https://mk0foopluginshnpw9dt.kinstacdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Captions_FooGallery_free.png) to set which captions will be appearing on the image. By default, it is set to the “Default” option on both, where the “Title” is set to the “Caption” option you had added to the image earlier and “Description” is set to the “Description” option you had added to the image.
You can also have a look at our docs to learn more on this: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/foogallery/appearance-foogallery/captions-settings/
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Elvis.
