I have a number of custom post types all with ACF Pro custom fields. Right now only post content and featured image are showing a diff of what has been changed between revisions. The custom post types just say they have been updated (but not what was updated).

Is it possible to show the diff for all fields?

Not at the moment, this may come in a future update however. I don’t prioritize this because it looks like many sites use Gutenberg now instead of the classic editor with fields.

I would strongly disagree, there is a large non-Gutenburg community and make developers who are still building or supporting sites with the previous way of editing content in WordPress. I think that the ‘Classic Editor’ plugin has 5+ million installation is proof enough that many people aren’t using Gutenburg.

Hey @eskapism , all of our sites use ACF. Do you think you can implement some basic support for acf fields? Even the official wordpress Revisions support acf Fields now. Gutenberg has lots of problems, so most of our pages switched back to the classic editor.

If that’s not possible, is there a hook that I can use to edit the “page has been updated” message? So that I can include a link straight to the Revision page.

Thanks for the feedback. I had completely missed that the built in revisions page did show ACF fields! A link to the revisons page may be a good idea. I’ll add that to my list of things to consider.
