  • Hi robphat, i am experiencing the same issue. In Settings the option is ticked but nothing appears in the blog.

    Did you find a solution? Any help would be most appreciated.

    I have no reply yet. Hopefully one will come soon. But I also posted the question in Modern Tribe’s forum, since I am a paid customer of one of their plugins.

    I’m still waiting for a reply from there too though.

    Thanks for your reply robphat, i don’t want to post the same topic twice so would you be kind enough to share a solution once you find one please?

    @neutrino,

    I got this this back from Modern Tribe about this issue:

    It could be that is not a main query as defined by WordPress and just a custom loop. If you change to another theme like Twenty Fourteen to events show then?

    I changed themes and it did work, just like they said. I’m waiting for the best way to resolve this now, and I’m sending a support ticket in to the dev of the theme I am using. What theme are you using?

    Same here. I’m using Divi by Elegant themes.

    Hi,

    I can help out here.

    The events only show in the blog roll on the home page if it is the main WordPress query. If your theme setup a custom query it will not show.

    A good way to test is as robphat said trying it out in Twenty Fourteen. If it works there and not in your theme then your theme is not using the main query.

    Thanks
