Show Excerpt instead of Post

  • Hello everyone,

    i want just want to show a bit of my post on my homepage as at https://www.alatoerka.nl

    now my site is showing my whole post! I just want it to show my excerpt or the first sentence of my post…

    I’m using the theme ‘Pixel’

    Can anyone help me?

    Oh, I found out you can replace this:
    < ?php the_content(); ?>

    With this:
    < ?php the_excerpt(); ?>
