    Hi,

Currently doing some testing and have created a portfolio layout with two portfolio items, each with their own category (Graphic Design & Art Direction). The portfolio layout is set as my home page and sits in the nav menu along with an About Me page.

I have the portfolio layout filter disabled. I want to re-create this filter in the nav menu in my header.

I’ve added the two portfolio categories to my menu structure in Appearance>Menus and saved Permalinks in settings. However, the nav menu portfolio categories don’t filter as expected.

I’ve tried different custom structure Permalinks without success.

    Any other suggestions gratefully appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Nevermind, I sorted it.

For those interested, create your portfolio categories first, then create another portfolio layout for each category. While there, click on Post Based tab and in the Taxonomies window type in the category corresponding to your layout. The preview will show only those portfolio items matching your category. Publish.

Create a new page following the same method you created your first portfolio layout in Pages.

In Appearance > Menus, select your new pages and add to menu. Save menu. Voila!
