Show flexslider on category-pages

  • Is there a chance to place to flexslider on the top of every category-page?

    I really like the look and feel of the slider and would like to make the category-pages look even better with the slider.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately this is customization beyond what I can assist with here on the forums.

    What you would start with is creating a child theme and then create a file named category.php inside of it. Then copy over the contents of archive.php of the parent theme to category.php of the child theme, to give you a start.

    Hi! I’ve been using a child-theme already for a while since I did some other changes to the theme as well.

    I set up a category.php as described and am now struggling with the needed includes and function-calls.

    I placed a
    <?php get_template_part('inc/featured'); ?>
    within my category.php and am wondering what else needs to be done.

    Any hints? ??
