Show full recent posts instead of excerpts

    Hi, I’m trying to make my home page show recent posts in full and not as an excerpt.
    I googled around and found out that there’s something called php the_excerpt and the_content and that if I replaced the former with the latter it should do what I want.
    I’ve so far replaced the_excerpt pretty much everywhere I could find it (content.php, content-home.php etc.) and still no luck.

    If this is the right way to go about it I must have missed some files, please tell which files need to be edited to achieve this.

    If this is not how you go about it, what do I do instead?

    Thanks for a great theme btw, I struggled a lot with twentythirteen and installing your version fixed many problems I had with it instantly.

    There’s no need to make such edits as the theme contains an option to enable/disable the excerpts – you can find this in the theme customizer.

    Thanks for your reply, unfortunately that didn’t help.
    I already checked that option and the posts are still not shown entirely. Actually it’s always the pictures that are not shown, they only show when you click the post to read it.
    I want a new post to appear entirely just as I made it with pics and everything.
    Is there a way to do that?

    Nevermind, I just found what you were talking about. Before I kept looking in the general settings.
