Show gallery at first visit

  • Hi,

    I was wondering if there is a code or plugin to show some ‘content’ in my case a gallery at the first visit/opening of the website (index.php).

    My first thought was to work with cache. I saw that page cache refresh every 10 minutes. So that would be perfect. But I can’t find anywhere how to do it. Some keywords search suggestions will also help a lot.

    You might try searching for the term “conditional” while plugins. So a plugin that would show or hide something based on specific conditions; in your example, that’d be whether or not they’d visited the site before.

    In a quick search, I found this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/conditional-blocks/ I don’t know that it would work with your specific requirement, but it might be a starting point for you!
