Show/Hide per taxonomy term (category, tag, &c.)?

    Hi there! Thanks for a very well-designed and useful plugin. Is there some way to show/hide widgets according to whether a post has been assigned a certain category, tag, or other taxonomy term? Or is there a plan to include that option in the pro version when it is released? I prefer your plugin to all the alternatives I’ve found so far, but we really need that taxonomy feature for our site so I will unfortunately have to use some other plugin if that feature isn’t available.

    That’s a great suggestion @zirafa!

    Currently the only way to do this is by using the “Target by URL” feature if the category/taxonomy term is included in the URL.

    I’ll try and add this to the core/free plugin since I feel like this is an important feature. Unfortunately, I don’t know when I’ll have the time to do that.

    Thanks for the very fast reply! I guess will have to use a different plugin for now, though, since it sounds like you won’t be able to add the feature any time soon.

    Or — maybe there’s a way I can help with the development of this feature? Conceptually I don’t think it’s too complex. I picture another pair of fields like the target url fields, but with one taxonomy_name:term_name per line instead of the slug. On the back end, then, would be a check for has_term. Perhaps if I take a look at the plugin code and send you a draft of some revisions for you to consider?

    Hi again @kasparsd,

    back in October I did in fact make a slightly modified version of the plugin with the added feature. Is there some way I could submit those modifications to you for inclusion in the official plugin?
