    WordPress version: 6.0.3
    Hueman Parent version: 3.7.23 plus a child theme for customizations

    I’ve been using the free Hueman theme for a number of years and have only recently started to redesign my website and add new content. By design, the Hueman theme hides image captions when featured images are displayed on a mobile in portrait orientation.

    I want to use image captions on some featured images in posts as photo credits to the original photographer (there are only two like this so far), and I’d like captions to be shown on mobile screens.

    I’ve formatted the image-caption element in styles.css of my child theme to display captions as I’d like them to appear, and that’s working in desktop, tablet & landscape mobile view OK.

    I’d be grateful if someone can tell me what CSS to use to unhide the image captions for portrait mobile screens, and in what file to put it, as I can’t work it out.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    I’ve figured it out. I added –

    @media only screen and (max-width: 719px) {
    .image-caption { display: block; }

    to styles.css in my child theme and that seems to have done the trick.

    I’m sure I tried that earlier in the day without success :-/
