    Hi Blutarsky,

It’s not possible to show the information in the front end and this also can’t be easily coded because of how the plugin is made.

    Sorry for that.

    Best regards from Spain.

On the dashboard the memory usage is only 12mb.I am afraid that the memory usage in the fronted is quite different

    Thread Starter Blutarsky

    (@blutarsky)

So the memory usage is always related to the dashboard or the plugin will collect statistics of usage on the frontend?

    Thread Starter Blutarsky

    (@blutarsky)

If data is being collected only for the dashboard how can we measure real usage on the frontend?

    Hi Blutarsky,

The memory usage is the total usage of the WordPress installation, both front and backend.

If you are running PHP 7 a memory usage from 7 to 12mb is normal (if the number is visitors is low).

    Best regards.

Ahh ok this makes sense! But why sometimes I get a memory allocation error?

    Plugin Author apasionados

    (@apasionados)

The reason is normally an increase of website visitors (or bots visiting the site). Do you use any Cache Plugin?

    Thread Starter Blutarsky

    (@blutarsky)

Yes, the site is hosted on siteground and I am using their caching plugin sg supercacher…
Maybe I should find a way to disable bots? The site has very little real visitors…. a few per day ??

Hmmm. Really strange if you’re on Siteground with the SG SuperCacher. Where do you get the memory allocation error?

Next time it will occurr I will post more detailed info. In the meanwhile, one question: do you store stats somehow? I mean the peak usage will be stored and displayed?

    Plugin Author apasionados

    (@apasionados)

No, we don’t save stats. We wanted this plugin to be as light as possible. Problem when saving stats is that you have to be very carefull that the database doesn’t get too full.

    (@blutarsky)

I mean the value shown in the footer is the highest value from frontend and backend ever recorded?

    Plugin Author apasionados

    (@apasionados)

No. The value is the value at the moment the page loaded.

    (@blutarsky)

I am missing something! Previosly you stated that “The memory usage is the total usage of the WordPress installation, both front and backend.”

But as the output (momento) occurs in the backend (dashboard), the plugin will not show memory usage in the front end. I think that memory usage in the frontend is the most important part….

    Plugin Author apasionados

    (@apasionados)

    Hi there,

The plugin shows the memory in the backend, but it shows the memory usage of the WordPress installation (front and backend).

The memory usage is the total memory that the WordPress installation uses.
