Show latest blog post summary?

  • I’m looking for a plugin that will allow me to show on the home page (which is a page not a post) the last blog post?

    Just to show the title, date, first couple of lines, and a ‘read more’ but haven’t come across one that will do that? Any suggestions?

    Preferably something where I can just put [last-post] in the page I want to show it something similar!
