Show limited terms of color attribute

Hi! Our woocommerce store has a lof of variations with respect to color. For eg., there is green, algae green, fresh green – so they all differ in shades. When I see the shop page it shows a full list of colors, i.e., all the shades of green. Is there a way to show only the primary color – green and hide all the others? And, when we filter with respect to green color, it should filter and show all the shades/variations of green. Is this possible with this plugin? Please help.
