• Hi,

I have a problem where my iPad in portrait mode is showing the full desktop version of my site’s menu, not the tablet responsive-version that the theme editor shows.

As a result, the menu is wrapping to two lines.

How do I force the iPad (in portrait orientation) to use the collapsed burger nav version of the theme?

I’m using a child theme (but the problem happens in vanilla 2017), but am having trouble understanding the main theme’s CSS to figure out what to override in order to cause the iPad to show the hamburger menu collapsed nav, because they’re all in em sizing.

    Thanks.

just to note, I have managed to add an @media override for the iPad to the child theme to reduce the menu item padding, so it doesn’t break to a new line, but finding out how to change that tablet-size responsive switch so it applies to the iPad would be great.
