Show more posts of current author (post view)

    Hi! I’m looking for a plug-in which is shown on the post view only. There, more posts from the post-author should be displayed. Is this something which can be done?

    As a second part: on the main page, I want to show some random posts. Any chance the same plug-in could be used to show this on the main page?

    Hi,
    You can configure a Posts in Sidebar widget to show random posts in the main page and, when in single post view, posts from the author of the current post.

    Thanks Aldo. I’m able to show 5 random posts.
    I’m not able to show author posts only, when opening a “post”. How would I be able to do this?

    Follow these steps:

    1) in the widget dashboard go to Getting posts > Change the query when on single posts > Get posts from current author.
    2) Activate the option “When on single posts, get posts from the current author”
    3) Change the other options in this panel (number of posts, widget title, etc.), save the widget, and you’re done.
