Show more posts on front page

    I am trying to show more “recent posts” on the frontage of my blog. When I go to settings and select reading, I changed “blog pages show at most” to 15. It still only shows 4 recent posts.

    Then I tried changing “Syndication feeds show the most recent” to 15. It still only shows 4 recent posts on my frontage?

    Am I not selecting the correct setting? Thank you to anyone who can help.

  • That would normally do the trick, so I’m assuming that the number of posts to show is hardcoded in your theme. So you’ll need to change the actual theme files to get it to work correctly. Depending on your theme the actual code needing changed will vary. It will typically be found in index.php though. Look for something in there that references 4 posts.
