"Show number of views to non-admins" option my not be working.

    I may be misunderstanding the option, but I have the option “Display number of views on:” = Posts & Pages
    and I have the option “Show number of views to non-admins” unchecked.

    I assume the behavior to be that non-admin would not be able to see the count stats for any particular post or page but the admin would.

    What I’m getting is the “Show number of views to non-admins” is having no effect for non-admins they still see the count verbage.

    I’m doing the non-admin access from a separate computer to make sure there’s no browser caching contamination. I’m also running W3 cache on the site, but have disabled and flushed it for this testing.

    Am I missing something?
    Am I not understanding the “Show number of views to non-admins” option correctly?

    I’d like to be able to see the stats as an admin but I don’t want to clutter up the posts and pages with data the visitors don’t really need or care about.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Hi, the non-admin access only disables the columns in the All Posts page to non-admins. They will still display in the front end for all users.
