Show only current events

Have you tried the shortcode options?

When you say only current events – are you getting past events without past=’yes’ in the shortcode?

Please also provide a link.

Now it’s showing the upcoming events. I’m having for example these events:

July 1 to 31
July 20 to August 3
July 21 to July 26
August 20 to August 22

So I just need the first 3 events to be displayed, because they are ‘active’. Number 4 should be displayed from August 20.

Did you add limit=’3′ to the shortcode?

Yes, but that’s not what I need because I always have to change it manually. When it’s August 5, there is only 1 current event. It would be great, if always only the current events would be displayed without editing the shortcode.

The shortcode doesn’t work the way I think you want it to.

There is no date range option.You can show all events in the future and you can limit the number of events that are shown.

BUT You can put events into categories – maybe create categories for your months. and change the category in the shortcode each month. Then you could use my read a poem plugin. On the first of the month the different content (in your case shortcode) will display.

I’m having an issue with this too.

I have the limit set to 1, but the event that is displaying is for tomorrow. The shortcode only shows the next upcoming event. Not the one that exists on the current day, which is what I’m looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
