show only first level of child page

    I have this kind of structure

    Page A
    Page B
    Page D
    Page E
    Page C

    I want that (1)when I click on Page A, I immediately display Page B as main content; (2) I also want to display in the sub navigation only links to Page B and Page C, not also Page D and Page E.

    The (1) is already working fine, the point (2) it does not work.

    I’m using the following code:
