Show only for certain categories

  • Is there a way for the popup to appear only for pages that contain certain categories?

    I am developing a site where the age gate should appear only for category page and products with cat ‘sensual’.

    Hi @imraphox,

    Yes you can do that, here’s the steps to take:

    1. In the restriction settings, choose Selected content
    2. Also check the “Posts will inherit their taxonomies restriction settings” option
    3. Save those settings
    4. Then on the advanced tab, select the taxonomy in “Inheritance taxonomies” and save
    5. Finally, go to the edit page for your category and check the “Age Gate this content”

    Now anything under that category should require the Age Gate.

    Hi,

    Great plugin, works fine, but there is somethings that doesnt work for me.

    I do all you say, but I can still find the products with “search”, and I can see the products.

    I cant enter inside of the product page before I verify the age, but with de cart button, I can buy the item without enter the page.

    The products is under requirement of Age Gate, but I can see it with “search” and buy the product.
