Show Popup action returns an error

  • Hi guys,
    I just tried on a fresh site with Twenty 18 theme and only these 2 plugins activated but I get the same issue. I even tried with a more simple trigger A user views a page but I get also an error for the Show popup action which I cannot debug because I don’t see any logs even tho WP_DEBUG is on.
    Maybe something not tested with WP 5.8
    I just hope you can fix it soon like you did for this other bug

    FYI I followed exactly this tutorial so I don’t think it’s a configuration issue.
    I do think it’s a bug on your side because the exact same config works with AutomatorWP and Popup Maker.

    Hi @sanaconeltantra , sorry about the delay. There was absolutely an issue on our side on that was fixed in the 3.0.4 release. That fix unfortunately required a change in the setup that wasn’t properly reflected in our documentation. With the update, you need to remove any cookies that automatically hide the pop-up.

    Can you make sure you’re using the latest version, then follow the updated guidance at https://automatorplugin.com/knowledge-base/working-with-popup-maker-actions/ and let us know if you still run into any issues?
