YARPP isn’t aware of a category being more important than others. You can set it up to only consider categories when evaluating relatedness, but you can’t say “on Europe category posts, only show related Europe category posts” etc.

Thinking about it, if you had multiple posts in a subcategory, like “France”, you would probably want to those show those first, right? If you set up YARPP to only consider categories, it will show posts in the “France” category first, then the more distnant “Europe” ones next. Hi @vigyx, sorry but to adjust the image sizes you’ll need to do some custom coding. But here’s some resources that might help:

You can have YARPP default to a larger image size as explained here: https://en-ca.www.ads-software.com/plugins/yet-another-related-posts-plugin/#i%E2%80%99m%20using%20the%20thumbnails%20display.%20how%20can%20i%20change%20the%20thumbnail%20size%3F, and then use CSS to let the images take up more space.

You may want to use a custom template too, as explained here:

If you have further questions about resizing the images, it would probably be best to open a new support thread (to help others with similar question find it and keep me from getting totally disorganized!)
For now, it sounds like the original issue was fixed.
