Show posts in a page

Hi,

I have made a page “Blog” in my website, which I want to be the main blog area with recent posts and archive etc.

But I don’t know how to get the latest posts into there, I thought I could just do it in the HTML view of editing the page but that didn’t work…

Can someone please point me in the right direction? ??
