Show posts in sidebar depending on date (tag)

  • Hi,
    I hope someone can help me with this. I want to show posts in my sidebar depending of the date you have to take a certain action.

    For example:
    I write 10 posts and all have as a tag the date on which you need to purchase an item. Now I want a list in the sidebar that says e.g.

    7/24
    7/23
    7/22

    When you click on 7/24 you should get all posts that include an item that has to be purchased by this date. Furthermore, on 7/23, the ‘7/22’ should automatically disappear from the sidebar since the date has passed.

    I believe that I can do that very easy with the appropriate template tag but unfortunately I don’t know how ?? . Can anyone help me with that?

    I was just thinking that I can do something like this with a event calender plugin, right? It would show the calendar instead of a list of dates. Is there a calendar plugins that gives the option to add a tag so it recognizes the post as an event? Because I don’t want to create every post as an event as well so it would show up.
