Show rate widget on category page

do you mean the rating widget or the results widget? I’m planning to add a feature so that post ratings will be optionally also seen on category pages.

Oh, did you mean that you would be able to rate the categories? Unfortunately, this is not possible because the ratings get stored in post meta fields and these fields do not exist for categories. It would require a complete restructure of the plugin.

No, absolutely not, I meant that on archive pages, under each post, you can rate them on the same page.
The showing is the easy part,I did it, you just have to query the corresponding postmeta, and print it, the form and the sending is the tricky part, I guess.

Yeah rating is based on javascript and the current implementation does not allow more than one rating widget on the page ?? I’ll consider this in the next versions. However, I’m wondering if it’s really feasible to have rating widget on category pages? I would say that allowing to rate a post before actually reading it produces inaccurate results. Or are the category pages implemented differently? I’m just curious ??

I just downloaded your plugin. Good design and UI seems super easy, which is awesome, so good work. But we’re wondering, is there any way to create an email registration requirement in order to leave a rating?

We understand it’s an additional step for the rater, but we’re trying to devise a simple method to separate the serious rater from everyone else. You see a lot of rating abuses on Amazon, for instance, because it has been so unregulated for so long.

Anyway, would appreciate your help.

To answer the previous question:

I asked my client, they just wanted to show the results, so thats already done. ??
Its a custom page, where we show posts with thumbnails. However, the post is only a picture. Its for a drawing competition. So when you open the single page, you’ve already seen the picture.. ??
