Show related galleries on a gallery page (not post)

I’m trying to show related galleries on a gallery page, if I use the shortcode [nggtags gallery=my-keyword] in edit page it shows all thumbs that link to the image, not the gallery.
I also only want to show max 12, i’ve tried using [nggtags gallery=my-keyword max="12"] but it still shows all thumbs.
Is this possible?
