Show scaled imatge in WP Bakery

    Hi, I have paid account with TinyPNG.
    The question is that I have WP Bakery to build the pages. What I’m looking is that the image shown does not resize to it’s container.
    I mean that the container maybe is 400×400, so I upload a 600×600 image and it shows a 600×600 image instead of a resized image.
    I thought the system would show up a resized image for each container size.
    Can it be done with the plugin?

    Hi!

    Thank you for reaching out to us. If you have plug-ins that generate image sizes (such as WPBakery should) they will appear in the TinyPNG settings page. You can then select these image sizes and they will be compressed.

    It’s important to realise that the TinyPNG plugin compresses images, which is different than resizing them. Resizing an image means changing the dimensions, e.g. from 600×600 to 400×400. Compressing an image means reducing the file size, so the image will still be 600×600 but its file size might be 1MB instead of 2MB.

    If you’re looking to resize the dimensions of your images then you’ll need a different plugin (or use functionality provided by WPBakery if that exists).
