Show Subcategories in Shop Page 2

    With the latest version of WooCommerce and the following settings in Customize >> WooCommerce >> Product Catalog, both parent categories and sub-categories will be displayed on the shop page”

    This is what I want to do as well. I am using a Storefront-Child theme, which is fully updated, however, I cannot see both Categories and Subcategories, in this case, just All Stickers and subset Hiker Stickers.

    Current state of site is rough.

    That’s not correct.

    In the Customizer, by default there are only the following options:

    As you can see in the screencast above, the Subcategory option is for the Category page, not the Shop page.

    If you want to show both Categories and Subcategories on the Shop page itself, you could look at using category shortcodes or a woocommerce category block to build the section of the homepage that you need:
