show submenu over slider

Is there a solution to allow the drop-down submenus to show over the slider?

I have my slider positioned below the horizontal menu and some of my submenus would extend into the area over the slider but they don’t show. I could resolve by adding additional white space between the menu and the slider but I’d rather not do that.
