Show Target/Goal Signatures on a petition.

Hey Reg,

The signature count displays below the form.

There are two options available:

dashboard > speakout > settings > petition form tab > Display signature count

and if you want to set a target and show a progress bar

dashboard > speakout > petitions > edit > on the right – Set signature goal

I just was doing this and the hidden edit/delete links under the petition title that appear when you mouseover may be confusing for people. I am going try to have them display by default.

But, you didn’t get my question completely. I meant like it shows how many signatures done, I want to show how many signatures needed (total or difference left).

Like for example, I need 200 signatures on my petition and 6 are already done. Then it should should something like 6/200 signatures done or atleast something to display below the progress bar that 200 signatures needed.

This is resolved in version 1.6.7 which I will push soon.

From the readme.txt file:

* Improvement: When you have set a goal, it how shows the percentage of the goal reached so far beside the signature count, plus the goal value on the right of the progress bar.
* Improvement: reversed the colours of the progress bar. It is now red when hardly signed and green when 100% of goal. Makes more sense I reckon.

When can I expect this release, please.

1,887 signatureS (“S” is missing) is not 50% of the goal, which is 2000.

Yes, there is something odd with the translation, it is fine in English.

I will also fix where the checkbox for joining the mailing list is orphaned on the line above.

and would it be possible to translate “of goal” ? ??

I have just pushed 1.6.8 which addresses these issues.

The problem with % calculation didn’t show up in testing with low goals, only with high goals, so slipped through.

Can you please check whether signatureS works now.

one problem though is the color of the bar, maybe:
it’s not supposed to go from blue to red anymore?
