Show the discount applied on product page: how to?

I’m here again to please ask you a hint.
I have set a PRODUCT LIST (in my case, based on TAXONOMIES), and then set a percentage DISCOUNT for that Product List. It works as espected, but I would like to also show somewhere in product page the applied discount amount (something like “Product in offer: -XX%”).
Is there a simple function I can use to hook the XX% percentage value in product page?

It only works in the case you set a default options for each attribute used in any product variations. When you leave them unset (this is the case when you want the user select the desired options to enable the “add to cart” button), it does not show the badge.
