Show the excerpt on Post pages

  • Hello, I would like to show the Excerpt of each entry post just after the post title, but I can’t find an option to do it.

    I can show the excerpt on the categories and archive pages, but not on the individual post.

    I have a child theme, could you show me how to do this if possible?

    Please have a look at this screenshot. Is that what you were trying to achieve?

    Why would you like to show the excerpt when the entire post is showing up below it? It’s an uncommon thing, I would say. Also, there’s no dedicated feature on Astra to do that?

    You can achieve it using the combination of the Post Excerpt block and an Astra module. However, the module is not available on the Astra free.
