Show Thumbnail only when sharing post

  • Hi,

    My theme uses the thumbnails from each post of my website to display them on the main page. This is perfect when I do post with text or a podcast, because I only want the image to show when the link is shared.

    Is there a way to have the thumbnail generated on a video post, but only show it when the link is shared, but not show in the website itself, since the video(youtube) has already a thumbnail.

    This would allow to no have twice the same thumbnail in a row.
