Show translated events on eventmap (wpml & map with date filter)

  • Hello Event Manager Team,

    On a client internet project we run event manager and wpml for a german/czech webpage project. Goal of the webpage: show events in Germany and CZ-Republic in both languages, if event is translated. The event information is given in german or czech and translated in the corresponding missing language. For translation we use wpml.

    Our problem: at the home page of each language shall be a map, showing only locations with events in the current month (using [locations_map scope=”month”]). The trial event and event location is original added in czech language. At the czech site everything works fine, but at the german site the map can not load the location. Error message: “No location found” When looking at the menue “Veranstaltungen” (events) the translated event is visible.

    We updated PHP und MySQL (PHPVersion”:5.6.25,”MySQLVersion”:5.6.21), installed the latest WordPress version as well as the latest versions of the plugins WPML, Eventsmanager, contact Form 7, yoast. At the time we run the trial with a wordpress standard theme: 2016

  • Does just using [locations_map] work on the German homepage?

    yes, please have a look yourselfe, first map is published using: [locations_map]
    seconde map is published using: [locations_map scope=”month”]

    how can we make a map visible that shows only events from today, tomorrow, this week or this month?
    Not all Event Locations available, because this will be a mess…

    On czeck site it does not work. Can you help?
    Is filter view with map possible?
