Show username (or nickname) instead of full name

    Hi Antoine,

    I was wondering if there is an easy way to show the username (created at signup) or the nickname (which is the same as username) instead of the user’s full name. I can go through every user’s profile and set it to display nickname publicly, but that is a lot of work and I’d have to do that after every sign up. I also tried making changes in the class-football-pool-shortcodes, but no luck.

    Also, does this make sense?
    On my test site I have user “John” in league A, and I have user “Mike” in league B. When I look at my standings, it shows John in A, and Mike in B, which is perfect.

    I have the same set up on my production site, and while league B only shows Mike (which is correct), league A shows both names. All settings are exactly the same, but I don’t get why “Mike” also shows in the league which he is not linked to. Any ideas?

    As for question # 2, I see that the league ids are not the same on dev and production.

    On test I am using leagues with ID # 2 and 6, while the live site has leagues with ID # 1 and 4. I guess I understand now what is going on.

    But my first question about the username / nickname display remains…

    User names can be overwritten with an extension. See this post for an example.
