    Anything that can be done with WP_User_Query can be done with Simple User Listing. There doesn’t seem to be anything directly in that class, but if you use some custom SQL on the user query you might be able to achieve your desired goal.

    SUL does support the “query_id” parameter so you can then target specific shortcodes via pre_get_posts.
