• Hello,

I am using this plugin to show the way editor users see the wp-admin. I deleted many of the plugins they see in the sidebar, however, I also want to add the Matoma Analytics plugins there, so my client can see the analytics.

How do I do this? The plugin is in the ‘current menu’ list, however, all user roles are greyed-out (even the administrator role, even though I see the plugin as an administrator).

    Thanks already, Jip

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @jipasveld
    Sorry for my late reply.
I think your client not enough capabilities for Matomo Analytics.
So, add capabilities as need for your client.
    For example:

    • Superuser Matomo
    • View Matomo

    …etc

For exmaple plugin add capability: User Role Editor

And for about the grayed-out even the administrator role, administrator also don’t have capability, but administrator have submenu capability, I think administrator show the Matomo side menus.

If you want only add capability “View Matomo” for your client and Matomo submenu change location to parent menu, sorry WP Admin UI Customize is not support the change location menu item.(submenu to parent)
Consider try to new my plugin: My WP Customize
