• Hi,

I have uploaded a wide jpg picture to the media library. It views fine within the library, and I have put in a description.

When I include it on a page via: [gallery columns="1" ids="2030"], the page shows only the middle “square” of the image. How can I get the page to show the full picture on the page?

note1: If I click the image section, I go to the media library and see the full picture with the description. This is good.

note2: I also tried the “add media” button which gives the below caption. This shows the full wide picture on the page, but when I click it, it does NOT bring me to the item in the media library. I want the users to be able to click and see the full description of the item.

[caption id="attachment_2030" align="alignnone" width="300"]<img src=”https://teamhardwood.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/auction_MingJewelsChic-300×39.jpg” alt=”Ming Jewels” width=”300″ height=”39″ class=”size-medium wp-image-2030″ /> Ming Jewels[/caption]

thanks, Kwai

Hi,
I got it to display the full picture by adding the size option:
[gallery columns="1" size="medium" ids="2030"]
thanks, Kwai.
