    Hi,
Great plugin. However, I have recently noticed it is showing the discounted prices even when there are no discounts.
    Using latest Woo and WordPress.
Any ideas or suggestions most welcome.
    Thanks, Tracy

Any help with this? Because currently, the website is breaking European Laws due to the way the pricing is shown. Disabling your plugin corrects the issue.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Thank you for choosing our plugin.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please ensure that you have disabled the rules. When rules are disabled, they will not be applied to the product prices. If they are still being applied when disabled, there may be a cache issue on your website. You can deactivate the cache plugins, clear the cache, and try again.

You can test the same rule on our demo website to confirm that it is working correctly.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards

The rule needs to be enabled all the time, but what it shows is the discounted price if you buy the maximum number of items, as such this looks misleading and breaks the law.

For example, we would like people to receive a 4% discount if they buy x number of the same item, this works OK, but it shows the price on front page next to product £5 with a line through it and then shows £8. Therefore, it makes no real sense to the customer other than they think it is on offer. Here is link to example screenshot https://ibb.co/jwf7zQN

Unfortunatley, you didn’t send us a full-page screenshot of the rule that you used to let us check it out. But it seems that you have created a wrong rule.

For quantity based discounts you should use a bulk pricing rule instead of a simple pricing rule.

    I hope it helps.

If you used a bulk pricing rule and it change the product price on the archive pages, then follow the below steps.

    – Refer to the plugin settings – general tab – product pricing section.

    – Set “Change display price” to the “Change price – simple prices”.

    – Save the changes.

    I hope it helps.

    Hi,

It is using the bulk pricing rule as shown in this image
The change price was already set at simple prices.

    Thank you.

Why is this issue marked as resolved, when it was never resolved???

Not at all happy with the responses for the request for help.

Deleted plugin and certainly won’t buy any upgrade to it.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

When using the bulk pricing rules, the product price will not change if you select the option below:

    • Go to the plugin settings > general tab > product pricing section.
    • Set “Change display price” to “Change price – simple prices”.
    • Save the changes.
After selecting the above option, revisit the pricing rule and save it again to clear the pricing caches.

If the above suggestion does not resolve the issue, ensure that it is not a cache problem. You can disable caches on your site if necessary. Also, verify that you have not applied multiple pricing rules to the product.

Alternatively, another plugin on your website might be causing the issue. You can deactivate other plugins and keep WooCommerce + Discount Rules and Dynamic Pricing, then try again.

If the above suggestions do not resolve the issue, please check the same rule on our demo website and in case it doesn’t work properly provide us with the below information to let us check it out.

    – A full-page screenshot of the rule.

    – A screenshot of the plugin settings > general tab > product pricing section.

    – A link to the product page.

We need to create the same rule to check it out, so please consider to provide us all of the required information.

We hope this information is helpful.

    Best Regards
